5 WAYS I USE FACEBOOK GROUPS TO SELL AVON

Facebook groups are little goldmines when it comes to selling Avon online, but each group has different rules so make sure you read them before joining as some don’t allow Avon or other direct selling companies… you don’t want to end up blocked from posting before you really get started.

I went from non Presidents Club member to Silver Presidents Club member in 2015 thanks to the extra sales I generated through these groups… here are 5 ways I use facebook groups to sell Avon.

1. POST EYE CATCHING PHOTOS OR IMAGES

Avon create 4 online ads highlighting products and special offers from each brochure every campaign… you can find these on the Avon website under ‘ads for facebook’

2. WRITE A GOOD DESCRIPTION

I usually start my description with a general question that will grab the attention of potential customers, once you have their attention they will usually continue reading what you have to say.

I also highlight products that I have used myself and love so much that I simply HAVE to share it with the world.

3. BE HONESTno hype

Avon products are amazing, we don’t need to over hype them to try to sell more… no one likes to wonder whether a product is being exaggerated, it makes them feel very wary about purchasing… so KEEP IT REAL!

You need to be just as consistent selling Avon online as you are offline. You hand a new brochure out every three weeks so you cannot expect to generate many online orders if you don’t have the same approach with the facebook selling groups.

You might not ever meet these customers in person so they need to feel confident in buying from you online and there’s no better way to build this confidence than having a strong presence on your selling groups. You need to OWN IT and be known as the online Avon lady.

5. FOLLOW THE RULES

I already mentioned this at the beginning of this post but I am mentioning it again because if you don’t follow the rules of each group you will find yourself in ‘facebook jail’

Facebook jail is where facebook restricts your facebook account from being able to post and comment in any facebook group. This restriction usually lasts for 2 weeks which will have a huge impact on your campaign when you consider each campaign only lasts for 3 weeks.

AND FINALLY…

As for finding Facebook groups to post your stuff, I recommend checking out the Suggested Groups or Local Groups from Facebook. There you’ll find groups that are Open, Closed & Secret!

Anything you post in an open group can be seen by your friends & those who follow you.

You’ll have to request access & be approved to join closed groups.

Secret groups cannot be found in Facebook search results. These groups usually aren’t the best places to sell your stuff online.

Michelle joined Avon when she was 19 to earn some extra money while being at home as a full time mum. She now enjoys sharing the Avon opportunity with as many people as possible and would love for you to join her team.
