Each and every one of us had lots of questions we needed answering before we made the decision to join Avon, that’s why as a team we have come up with a list of the questions we get asked most frequently.

HOW MUCH WILL I EARN?

Avon Representatives and Avon Team Leaders are paid a commission on their own personal and team sales.

As an Avon Representative you will earn 20% on all sales above £87 and you will earn 25% on all sales above £160.

As an Avon Team Leader the percentage you earn will depend on the level you progress to, you can read more about these levels and the payment structure here.

 

HOW WILL I BE PAID?

As an Avon Representative you pay yourself out of the money you collect in when delivering your customers Avon order. Each order comes with an itemised invoice which shows you exactly how much you have made and how much you need to pay to Avon.

As an Avon Team Leader you are paid every three weeks except for during the short campaigns around Christmas and New Year when you are paid every two weeks. Your team commissions are paid directly into your bank account.

 

WILL IT COST ME ANYTHING TO JOIN AVON?

You pay nothing upfront to join Avon, however once you have joined and placed your first order an admin fee of £16 will be charged to your Representative account.

This £16 admin fee is spread  across your first and second order, meaning you will be charged only £10 in your first order and then £6 in your second order.

This is what makes joining Avon great, it’s an opportunity open to everyone because you can pay your joining fee out of the money you earn.

 

WHAT IF I WANT TO QUIT?

We understand that sometimes your circumstances change and being an Avon Representative might not fit into your lifestyle anymore. If this is the case for you we will be sad to see you leave our team but it’s really easy to leave Avon.

All you need to do is inform your team leader, clear any outstanding balance and your account will be automatically removed from our system after 3 missed orders, leading to it being closed altogether after 8 missed orders.

 

DO I HAVE TO SELL DOOR TO DOOR?

No. We have lots of Representatives in our team who simply sell to friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues etc you can even sell online through your own Avon online brochure.

 

HOW MUCH HELP AND SUPPORT WILL I GET?

When joining our team you will meet with your local team leader who will provide you with all of the training and support you need.

HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY AVON ORDER?

After collecting payment from all of your customers on delivery of their orders you will need to pay part of this money to Avon. You have a few payment options…

1. Take your invoice to a local post office to pay by using the giro slip at the bottom.

2. Put the money into your bank account and pay over the phone with a debit card.

3. Login to your online Representative account and pay online using a debit card.

 

DO I NEED TO DRIVE?

As an Avon Representative there is no need to drive as we have local vacant territories which will be within walking distance in most areas. You can email us to find out what areas are available near to you before joining.

 

CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN OPENED AND TESTED?

Yes. Avon provide all of their customers with a 100% 28 day money back guarantee. Even if your customer has opened and tried a product, if she/he does not like it for whatever reason it can be returned as long as it’s within 28 days of purchase.

 

HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Each Avon campaign lasts for three weeks, except for the short campaigns around Christmas and New Year when these last for two weeks. You are expected to place an order every campaign when covering an Avon territory (selling door to door) very few friends and family Representatives miss any orders either.

You will find most of your customers want to order their regular products this often and missing orders can result in your customers buying from another Representative. So although you’re not forced to place an order every campaign, it is in your interest to do so.

 

CAN I MISS AN ORDER?

Yes. although we do not advise it you can miss an order, however to keep your account active it would be better to place a small order for yourself or even for your next lot of brochures.

 

DO I PAY FOR DELIVERIES OR RETURNS?

No. As long as your regular order is placed on time and is above £14.99 you will receive free delivery. Any late or additional orders do come with a delivery charge, this is clearly stated on the Avon website before placing your order.

So to always receive free delivery make sure you collect all of your customer orders and place your regular order on time.

Any returns are credited to your Avon account and should be sent back with your delivery driver when he/she delivers your next order. Your team leader will show you exactly how to submit a credit and how to return an item to Avon.
